CAVA

The food was tasty and plentiful, but the presentation fell short. I ordered the pita, and it was so generously stuffed (the pita is just too small) that the pita was not up to the task of wrapping its contents. In fairness, CAVA doesn't call this item a wrap. I felt more like an animal at a feedtrough than a respectable restaurant patron as I dove face first into the mass of ingredients sitting atop what amounted to a partially open-faced sandwich. Parents had to shield their children from the sight!

The food was good and there was a nice selection of foods. I had a pita with roasted vegetables and it was good. The girl did put a little too much dressing on it, so I would advise that you tell them light on the dressing. I’m giving 3 stars because the customer service was less than optimal. The employees didn’t really seem like they wanted to be there. When my mom was having a hard time reading the tiny labels on the food, the girl just stared at her and wasn’t very helpful. She didn’t seem to have much patience for us, whose first time it was and we wanted to see what all there was. There were about 5 employees standing around talking, meanwhile my mom goes to get ice and there’s none in the machine, and she had to interrupt their social time to ask for more ice. I get that they couldn’t have known the ice was empty, but they COULD have noticed that the napkins were all gone and the plastic ware was all gone. They only had napkins and plastic ware at the register. Maybe this was because of COVID though. Overall, I would say the food is good, but because of the customer service it’s not extremely likely that I will go out of my way to go there again.

I was browsing the photos before seeing the menu - saw something that reminded me of Mediterranean nachos. Then sure enough there was lamb nachos on the menu.

I was slightly reserved about the place. Is it a new chain that I haven’t heard of ? Is it going to be overwhelming with feta like some Greek places ?

Wow. It was remarkable. Highly recommended. Will be coming back
