Civil Libation

Everything is good but the scallops are my favorite and the lobster roll is my wife's favorite. The owners are there often and are very nice and really care about your experience which makes us want to keep coming back. The bar manager April makes killer cocktails and has a great wine list. The Bocking Riesling is amazing paired with any seafood or veggie dish, not too sweet or too dry so everyone will be happy.

Remarkably creative and diverse menu of drinks and food. We could eat there every day for a month and not have the same meal twice.
And it is quiet enough to enjoy a conversation during dinner!

My daughter picked this place for the vegetarian menu items. She ensured me there were plenty of meat and seafood items as well. So glad we came! I started with the Hole-in-one (with Basil Hayden) crafted libation and scallop appetizer. They were both outstanding. I couldn't stop myself from saying over and over how good the scallops were with the Mexican street corn. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sauteed onions and crimini mushrooms were the perfect touch. My daughter enjoyed the zucchini rolls and veggie fritters. We'll definitely come back for these items but I can't wait to try some of the other items and libations on the menu!

We finally decided to stop here and give it a try and I’m so glad we did. The food was amazing and the drinks were the bomb. What an exceptional food menu and drink menu to choose from. The service and atmosphere was just as good. Our server Carter was exceptionally gracious with his recommendations and drink selections that proved to be just perfect! I will definitely return to this establishment and recommend it to anyone who needs a place to welcome a fresh taste and beautiful atmosphere to there list of local spots! Hands down a Virginia Beach local spot to give a try! You won’t be disappointed!

First time there and I can't wait to go back. We celebrated my daughter's birthday. She is plant based and we loved the different options. The testimony on how good the food is no one talked for 5 minutes and no one wanted to share their dish. The desserts are excellent. Love that they offer plant based options.
