MOD Pizza

Staff needs more experience and knowledge of menu. Pizza oven cook and person serving food kept swapping to work register. Not very efficient or sanitary. Food was tasty! Chesapeake location is a better experience.

I love MOD so when I heard they were opening one in VB I was very excited. The pizza tasted great and they have lots of options. The only cons I had were: The ingredients you could select weren’t labeled at all. The only labels they had were for the dressing and finishing sauces. While some ingredients are easily discernible by sight, others are very similar but be completely different. Also they don’t seem to be as liberal with their toppings as the Chesapeake location. I asked for spinach and got 4 small leaves. The only other issue I had was the stationary stools they have are very uncomfortable to sit on. My husband and I normally sit in the booths but they were rather packed so we took to the high tops. The seats themselves are rather small and you feel like you’ll topple over if you lean one way or the other. Also the only foot support is attached to the stool itself and if you’re short you’re straining to reach it to support yourself on the chair. A backing to the stools would help, or an additional foot bar under the table.

Great concept. Very busy and they were working hard but couldn't quite keep up. They are very friendly. The food was just okay. I'll definitely go back and give them another chance!! Great prices too.

Great place to vibe, and eat healthy or fattening pizza. Whatever you feel like eating. Drinks are delicious. Place is kept clean. Customer service is how it should be.
