Motsie's Sea Grille

Neighborhood bar that serves excellent seafood. Really "beach-y" feel in a casual atmosphere. Best scallops we've ever had! Food prices are reasonable, but beware the bar! Happy Hour prices are posted as $-off, NOT the price, and mixed drinks will give you "sticker-shock".

The atmosphere was great! The food was even better! The chef/owner came and greeted my wife upon request... all in all they made my wife’s birthday amazing! Not enough stars here... I give it 10!!!

I stepped by for a late lunch yesterday. They do have public restrooms. The bar was nice. They also have a reading nook.The server was great! She did say the seafood and sauces are fresh and cooked to order. I decided to order the jumbo lump crab mac and cheese. I also ordered the grilled shrimp wrap to go since they had the $5 sandwich deal. The mac and cheese was delicious! It was a large portion, enough for me to have leftovers. There was plenty of crab in there. It was just cheesy goodness. The grilled shrimp wrap was also delicious. The shrimp are colossal. This is perfect for a light but filling lunch.

Great find! Food was awesome with great Happy Hour specials. Our server, Mike, went above and beyond to spice up my husband's dish. Food was fresh and delicious. Love the atmosphere. We will be back! Very accommodating to our Service Dog, as well. Make sure and try the crab balls! They were little bites of delight! No playing around here with bland run of the mill Chef's Vegetable of the Day.....Perfectly cooked asparagus was amazing! Thank you!

The food was amazing and completely made to order. We included dessert and a special coffee. Server was great. We were not rushed she answered all of our questions. Food was very Timely and excellent. I highly recommend this and if we lived in Virginia Beach we be going back there again
