I love the flavor and smell of indian food. Love coming here
Jay was our server, he greeted us was very approachable. The food was amazing! Can't wait to go back!
While the food was quite good and well priced, the service was far from ideal. After being asked if I wanted a refill on my drink, the server promptly forgot to return with one untill he remembered 10 minutes later. After the main course, the server then forgot my dessert order and came to ask if we cared to order dessert. Hopefully this was a one time time, but not a great first impression for a first time diner.
I love this place! There are two locations in Hampton Roads that I know about and the food is very consistent. The only difference I have seen is that I have received a free shake/smoothie at the Norfolk location and no special discounts in the town center location. Regardless, when I crave Indian, I go to either Saffron.
Both restaurants have a different feel to them, the vibe in Norfolk is more trendy and modern looking, great for a date. The vibe in Town Center is nice as well but it has a more traditional look and feel to the restaurant, still a great place for a date but also families.
My go to meal is the Chicken Tikka (it's phenomenal!) or the Tandoori Chicken and the garlic naan but I have heard great things about the Butter Chicken as well!
