“Dinner at Vino Kempsville prepared by Alton was one of the best meals I have had in my entire life. Our server was Ally she was super nice and chill too. Every single item that came to our table was delicious. The apps were so flavorful, best calamari in a long time. The filet was the star of this show. I’ve dined at some of the best steak houses in the world. This filet was to die for!! Absolute 10/10 experience. Prices were reasonable too.”

Coffee is fabulous, the iced dark chocolate mocha latte is perfection- not too sweet, and plenty of chocolate/coffee flavor. The cappuccino art ain't too shabby either (see pic). Cozy seating, perfect spot to meet someone for a simple breakfast/brunch/lunch or to chill out solo. 10/10 recommend!”

“This place is absolutely amazing!! We just went there and ate pretty much everything on the menu and it was all to die for! I would definitely recommend it!!! It’s like a Japanese tapas place. I love fried oysters, but I honestly have to say those were the best fried oysters I have ever put in my mouth. Salmon, Tuna were amazing as well. And the Risotto?!? My friend had the chicken parmigiana which was huge and I had the baked ziti. Big portions of delicious food for sure! I was undecided between three dishes and asked our server to surprise me. Outstanding sauce and big chunks of sausage yummy we got the plain cheesecake for dessert which was enough for us to share and delicious. I stopped by the dessert case on my way out and picked up a pistachio cream puff to take home. The young woman Megan offered us an Italian cookie to taste which was great. I told her it was my first visit and how excellent everything was and she told me she was the Chef! Kudos to this restaurant !”
