This place was the most amazing tavern! Family friendly with a fantastic colonial atmosphere! All the workers were dressed as they would back in that time. Food was the best food I have ever eaten in Williamsburg! And they even have there own made root beer!
Food tasted good, cost too much but it is a tourist diner so can't be shocked by that. Lots of stairs so if anyone can't get around we'll make an alternate choice. Otherwise you'll enjoy the home cooked style southern food
Impossible burger! Great choice for a vegan options. Staff was very attentive, spoke about the history of the menu and restaurant. Very pleasant way to spend a warm afternoon.
Food was phenomenal. Wait was a little long, but that seemed to be because other regularly open establishments were closed. Other than the minor inconvenience of the wait, the experience was great. Service was very good, and the atmosphere certainly fit the time period. Would definitely do again.
