Updated review: 3/26/23
On our second visit the braised pork over rice was not as tasty as the first time we had it. The other items were good especially the pork katsu over rice. The curry gravy was delicious.
First visit:
We had a really nice lunch there with the family. They were busy (soft opening). We had the braised pork fried rice, tonkotsu ramen, fried chicken wings and chicken karaage. Everything was delicious. We will be back for sure! 😊
Was nice to find a ramen spot during my visit to Williamsburg. Good flavors. Decent service. My Thai tea was very watery unfortunately. My biggest issue was with the fact that they charge 12% sales tax when nowhere else in the city charges that. Check your receipts.
Ramen Talk is in an abandoned Applebee's location. No matter what the rest of this review states, this situation is still better than the previous.
The tea - unsweetened - was very weak and could have used longer to steep.
The Thai tea, even without ice, was watery. Obviously spoiled by another restaurant where they make it strong.
Okonomiyaki is not for me, but this I suspected from my experience with takoyaki.
The pork bun was . . . small.
The Ramen was really good!
Avocado salad is a thing that happened. It's just sliced avocado on top of iceberg lettuce, sesame seeds on top, side of carrot ginger dressing. For some reason, this has become a menu item around here.
Look out fellow ramen restaurants cuz here comes Ramen Talk!!! heard great reviews about this place and decided to try it out. Guys please go try it! it was so delicious. everything is so delicious and service is top tier. everyone is so sweet and welcoming and the environment is beautiful. So many great options as well!!🍜💕🍣🍚🎋
Still in the soft opening stage. With all opening, you have to be patient. I went for lunch at 12 pm and they opened at 11 there were several group of people already. The interior is nice and gives off a nice vibe. I had the hell ramen combo, and it was good. The spiciness was good it was not burning hot. Steam dumplings were good also. Maybe next time, I'll try the fried version to see which is better. Portion size was enough I think but price wise, maybe a little on the high side for a combo meal if you eaten at other ramen places before. But overall food was good. I would come back and eat here again.
