This place, this WONDERFUL place! We walked into the store not know what to expect, but yet! Such warm happy smells greeted our noses! We walked the store looking at each product, we choose on some breads and a muffin. We walked to the counter our arms full. When we arrived at the counter the worker took our items and placed them in a bag so we would not have to carry them all. We payed then to be delighted to have a rewards for when we come again. We are certain that we will return to Great Harvest.
We ordered the lemon blueberry cheesecake, brownie, Hawaiian bread and High 5 Fiber Bread.
The brownie was ridiculous. SO good. Lemon Blueberry cheesecake was good, but not a cheesecake. I didn't try Hawaiian bread, but my husband said it was good but not Hawaiian bread. The fiber bread was fantastic. It weighs like 50 lbs (but like maybe 2.5 lbs) and just lovely. This bread probably isn't for everyone, but if you like things that taste like they are good for you, you'll love it. I slathered it in butter and then put mushroom brie on top.
Wow! That was delicious! The fresh baked bread is so good. Upon entering we were each offered a full slice of Cinnamon Burst Bread with butter as a sample! So delish, we bought a whole loaf! We also decided to order lunch. The Turkey Pesto Panini was so fresh and hit the spot! Too bad I don't live around here, because I'd be back for more!
Great bread (a bit expensive though at over $8 a loaf) and pastries (especially the cinnamon roll, I love that it is glazed rather than drowning in frosting and had a really nice pronounced cinnamon flavor). Also decent sandwiches and soups, though very limited variety compared to other bakery sandwich shops I've been to. Only a few vegetarian sandwich options: the "veggie pecan" (which was better than expected and I definitely would have again), grilled cheese, & PB&J. My dogs also enjoy the dog biscuits from here.
The sandwiches, the freshly baked breads, muffins, and treats 😍 everything is so delicious here. They even have fresh syrups and jams. There is no going once to Great Harvest, you’ve either never been or you go several times because the food is that good. And they have gift cards!
