Hubby's Pizza

I wanted to check this place out because I love the idea of a restaurant with a playground for kids and beer for parental units.

The fenced playground was situated near the busy street, so it was quite noisy and dirty. My toddlers hands were GNARLY after playing on the equipment. The water ran grey as we washed them. The equipment was better suited to kids older than mine.

The staff was super cool- really nice and friendly. The pizza was standard. I might try the salad bar next time. It was absolutely packed and we went on a Tuesday night.

We were looking for the boot repair place which wasn't open for a few minutes and noticed Hubby's Pizza was directly across the street. Lucky coincidence for us as it was lunch time and we were both hungry. When we walked through the entrance, the fantastic aromas had the desired effect (intentional? Absolutely!)! It wasn't super busy yet so we looked at a menu and settled on a medium.
Best discovery we've encountered this year or last year!
This is my idea of what a great pizza place should be! Our order was made from scratch, arrived in just a few minutes and was ABSOLUTELY delicious! Dang y'all, give Hubby's Pizza a try. Pretty sure y'all won't be disappointed.

Pizza was good. Kids liked the games. But I am pretty sure while I was ordering, the girl was on a personal call. She had a mask on and ear buds. It confused me because she was having a conversation in addition to assisting me. I felt rushed. Other then that our pizzas were delicious! A big Thank you to the cook.

Really Happy to have been introduced to this place. Quiet for Lunch during the week so far. I understand that evenings and weekends it can be Full with kids team lunches. Reminds me of the older shakers pizza places across the country. Family run, great pizza, Watch it being made, Long Bench seating, Great potato and pasta salad, nice salad bar, simple but fresh. A little nostalgic but good Pizza, great value.

Had a amazing pizza and a nice cold beer for Mother's Day! My husband knows me well 😊 Hubby's is a family tradition for many people! I'm making it my Mother's Day tradition!
