“AMAZING food and service. The owner is a Syrian Christian, and his EXCELLENT support staff are Christian Latinos, so he is usually closed on Sunday and Christian holidays. Plan ahead and go during the week so you can enjoy some of the best Mediterranean food in Portland metro. No, I’m not joking. I used to live in Portland and this is the REAL DEAL. I highly recommend letting the owner choose your meal for you and allowing him to keep it traditionally Syrian. It’s their food, they know what they are doing. Trust me and trust him, you will have a great night. I’m a “regular” and go 2-4 times a month. That won’t change. Best spot in BG!”

“Mod is my go-to for quick, easy lunch or dinner. It's always a quick trip, especially if I order from their app. Their salads are pretty large, I usually have to take some to go. There is a large variety of topping selections. No-name cakes are my favorite sweet treat after a salad or pizza. My only critique, which does not hold any sway on my experience at mod, is that their rewards system is one of the worst out there. You spend $150 for 1 free pizza/salad and you have to use the reward within 30 days or lose it. Yikes. As far as quick-service restaurant rewards go, it's pretty restrictive. That being said, I still really like mod and will continue to eat there, they're rewards system is just not a motivating factor.”

“Wow amazing experience! Came in for a late lunch. It happened to be happy hour which is 3-6pm. The restaurant was practically empty. Waitress showed up in 3minutes. Order came out in less than 10minutes! Waitress Victoria was serving 6 tables including the bar! Victoria was friendly with an upbeat positive attitude!Highly recommend Red Robin now! “This place is good in a lot of ways. The environment is nice and the service is friendly. It may have just not been my cup of tea. The pastor tacos are good, but I felt small for the price. The chicken was really charred and I wished there was some of the moist looking shredded chicken that my partner got on my taco. The chips and salsa were good although most of the time I wish there was a salsa that is more mild so I can enjoy it. I loved how they had 2 salsas and I tried it anyways but had to quickly extinguish it with water and more chips. My partner loved his taco salad. He said it has tons of flavor and is fresh. They did charge us for extra jalapenos and cilantro and never told us they would. Dishes were expensive so we tried to stay on the low end, some plates sounded really good but we weren't trying to pay $16-24 per meal. With the spicy food, we definitely needed water more frequently than provided. My personal suggestion especially for businesses these days, is to offer some alternative options. For example, I am lactose intolerant and often cannot have dairy, so many options are off for me. It would be so cool to go somewhere and see vegan cheese and sour cream options so I can have the deluxe meals. I really feel that most people would like it here, I like it somewhat.”

“Met the owners last November (2019) at the NW wine & food festival held at the convention center. Quite honestly, I thought they were one of the highlights of that "festival". So much so. I decided to check out their tasting room on Saturday 12/28/19... What a great spot! Warm, friendly and cozy come to mind when describing it... On my visit, I had the sample tray of four different ciders (ALL were delicious), "Pain Au Fornage" for a appetizer and from their wood burning pizza oven, a "Quattro Fornaggio" (4 cheese) pizza. EVERYTHING was SUPER tasty!!! Looking forward to my next visit on a Sunday afternoon and trying the waffle sandwich and bottomless mimosas!!!”

“Went out on a rare date night with my husband. I have been telling him about the pub since it opened. I have been in quite a few times with friends & last Christmas when my son was home on leave. Last night we finally made it there, together, without kids! We had the prime rib dinner and it was fabulous! Perfectly prepared and cooked, enough potatoes to feed a teenager, and a great mixed veg side. My drink was delayed in getting to me. Enough time for my app to arrive and the table behind us (who ordered after) to get their drinks. I had the Battle Ground Mule. It was a great balance of ginger and lime, so good I didn't even taste the vodka! The only surprise was when our server didn't offer dessert. I always get a "did you save room for dessert ?" or "is there anything else I can get for you?". I thought maybe she had gone to get the dessert menu when she cleared our plates but came back with the check instead. But that aside, everytime I have been in, always great food, tasty drinks, fun atmosphere, and friendly/polite staff.”
