Banh Mi SaiGon

I love going here. Best bahn mis around, and I've been coming since they opened Lately I've noticed a real difficulty in maintaining consistency. Sometimes the sandwiches just aren't as good, and today I got one of the saddest excuse for a bahn mi I've ever had. No jalapeños, one spring of cilantro, hardly any meat. I could literally fold the bread in on itself because there were so few toppings. The consistency of the product should be much better, especially in a small truck when they're not busy.

HUGE servings, excellent quality with fresh ingredients and beautiful bread. I just wish the pickled veg were more pickled. Even serving with a lime wedge would provide the acidity necessary to really make the food pop!

I go to this food cart at least once a month when I get a chance. I drive 20 minutes to buy my favorite pork meatballs with rice. Very tasty. I found it a balance meal with rice, meat, and veggies.

I bought a bunch of lemongrass chicken banh mi for my coworkers. all of them were perfect. They added a fried egg on each one and the eggs were done but not overcooked in the slightest. Best one I've had so far and at a great price. Service was extremely kind and helpful.
