Got the all u can eat shrimp and fish and my husband got the chicken and fish food was good. Just was confused that I didn't get any fries on my refills or more chowder. I don't know if that's part of the all u can eat or not deal (chowder) but I thought the fries were part of it when we asked for a refill they asked how many pieces I told them how much we wanted and we got the baskets and it had no fries I was confused on why I just thought they automatically add fries with each refill. I didn't say anything because it was a good portion more then I actually told them I wanted so they didn't skimp me on that. Maybe next time I request fries? Is that how it works? Other then that I would definitely change it from 4 to 5 stars maybe it is just the meats that is all u can eat? Can maybe the owner reply so I know thanks in advance. I would gladly change my rating if I just misunderstood what is all u can eat.
Edit* Thanks Randy for replying so fast. I changed it from 4 star to 5 now I know next time ???? . I haven't eaten Skippers in years so wasn't really sure.
Amazing service. These guys work hard. The fish was hot everything was on point. Now we all know this is a fast food joint. Skippers staple is the starter and chowder. If you fish is bland use more tarter. This is that nostalgic all you can eat fill you up fish joint. This place needs to stick around. But quality wise this place exceeded my expectations from my last experience. Keep it up guys I will definently come back again. Chowder amazing, fish crunchy and hot, tarter mind blowing and fries taste like real taters. Need a comfy flashback memory meal this is the place. Cant miss the all you can eat Tuesdays.
Very popular local fish shop. A lot of the food is fried but there is a good variety of really tasty food and reasonably priced. The clam chowder is good and the fish and chips is crisp and tasty. Free parking.
I eat here way too much. That enough is a great review.
The fish is always perfectly cooked and crispy, I love their cocktail and tartar sauce enough that I've even bought jars for home.
Their chowder is a bit salty but oh so delicious because of it.
The only food I never finish is their fries. They give you a bunch but they are also kind of plain. Great filler food though because they let the seafood shine as the main stars of the dish.
I was surprised to learn that Skippers was still around. But there is one of the last Skippers around in Vancouver. Who knew? The food is just as good as I remember it being when I was a child. The portions are large so don't let the price tag scare you off.
