This is a No-Frills place. The owner was on the premises.
The food was TERRIFIC! All food was very fresh.
I was with two other people and we all had different plates. My one friend had the falafel which was plenty of food to eat and to share. My other companion had a chicken dish which also was plenty to eat. And I had the shawarma which was probably one of the most delicious I've ever had. It was not greasy or fatty at all. Just very flavorful. All complimented by teas & fresh juices.
Very reasonable pricing. Street metered parking only.

Good is delicious and portions are pretty big. I'm a big fan of their chicken kofta and the baklava is soooooo tasty. I've always found the service to be very friendly. Awesome local business!

We went on First Friday and were pleased with the variety of offerings and the very reasonable prices. Convenient location, good food and prices. Parking can be tricky.

We have always liked the food there- very flavorful, good prices, big plates. We have always liked the service there- friendly people, good staff, efficient service. But there is never a crowd, and it's a bit unsettling to sit there alone in a restaurant. Ambiance is lacking. It needs more 'warmth' like carpet or better furniture. It needs something authentic going on (belly dancer on weekend?) Better wine selection? Where's the dude from TV that helps out restaurants- he might have the answer. It just needs a tweak to turn it into a hidden gem in downtown Vancouver.... not just a place barely surviving, but an actual destination! The food is worth the trip tho!!!

I had the lamb and it was outstanding! The staff was friendly and the value was excellent. It's a must for any meal!Great place for lunch. The hummus and chicken are delicious. Lunch entry is served with delicious cucumber salad, tabouli and rice. They start with an appetizer and pita. Good food, cooked fresh and reasonably priced-what could be better
