Magnolia Tavern

Our first time here, my husband and I sat in the corner by the fireplace. We ordered a drink and 2 appetizers. The gulf shrimp were out of this world. You get 4 but they are huge. We also ordered the veggie dip which was so good, I could eat it with a spoon but they came with potato chips which I'd have preferred something healthier. All in all, I think because they are new, there's going to be a few negatives but we're giving them a chance to work through them..
Came back with 2 other couples and everyone love their dinner. I had fettuccine and candied pork bellies. Yum!! It was wonderful.

Our friends keep telling me about this place, so we had to check it out ourselves. Me and my Friend came in this afternoon for a quick bite and they were packed. Two girls were killing it, running around taking on the whole place. We tried the burnt ends, Gumbo and the 2 piece fried chicken. Everything was spectacular! Service was amazing, Kenzy was taking care of us, she was attentive, made sure everything was to our expectations, and made the time to make us feel welcomed. This is our new lunch spot.

Have visited twice. First time sat at a table in bar, only was able to have one drink since we only seen our waitress once. Second time we sat at the bar, much better service! Very slow at making drinks but they were good. Food is decent, haven't tried much. We will go back again because it does have a cool atmosphere and the one waiter (don't know his name) was running his butt off, good job bud!!! Its close to home so makes it easier to put aside some of the drawbacks. Gonna check it out tonight and will update, could be last time or might turn into our favorite hangout we will see! They are new so gotta give them some slack....
