Thai Orchid Restaurant

We love Thai Orchid. From food to service to ambiance, unfortunately for us what used to be our date night place isn't affordable anymore. We used to eat Happy Hour in the bar leaving paying around $40, which tonight was $65 all of the same items. What a bummer.

We had an excellent experience here. Hip vibe. Amazing mixed drinks. The tofu curry was flavorful and fresh veggies. The Tom Ka coconut soup was delicious. Everything was good and the service was outstanding and friendly. The orchids are edible too.

This place is amazing! I ordered the Chasing Dragon and Sushi pizza and would definitely get both again. The sushi pizza may not be the most aesthetically pleasing dish, but it was by far the best tasting! Most of the people in my group ordered pad thai and seemed to really like it, the portion was huge! I highly recommend this place and will be back soon ????

The orange chicken is breaded in house with a very light breading. BEST I have had. Service was outstanding, the ambiance of the restaurant itself was perfect. I would recommend this place and I will go back. The people I was with also said their meals were delicious.

My husband has been chomping at the bit to go here and we decided after not finding anything on the waterfront to go back into downtown and give this place a try...So glad we did. We were lucky and got a spot on the street in front - parking limited in the small space in front of the restaurant. Walking in - it was gorgeous. We were seated right away and got an appetizer & drinks ordered right away. A Thai iced Tea & (2) Shirley Temples. We ordered the combination platter for our appetizer- the dipping sauces & everything but the tofu pieces was yummy. For our main courses we ordered Spicy Shrimp (3 on spicy scale of 1-5) with broccoli & side of white rice, Mango Chicken Special (2) with side of white rice & Lettuce Wraps (2). We didn’t have to wait long before everything was delivered and we were digging in. Spicy for a 2 but 3 was doable. Great flavor on everything. Barely had room but had to try dessert. We split a banana foster. So glad we did split and give it a try. Overall I’m super impressed and look forward to bringing out of town guests to this place when they are visiting. Wish it didn’t take us so long to try it out...
