We love the Rock Island Bar & Grill - the beer is cold and there is a good selection, the food is top notch and we always feel welcome here. There is seating both inside and out, and outside has seating that is covered and not. The space not under cover has a stage and one can catch music from time to time. “Being back from TX for more than 3 yrs now. I have had a hard time finding a decent Mexican Restaurant until now. My understanding is the owners now used to own it, and have bought it back. I loved the food and the service!! You get more food for you buck, and the taste of the food is amazing. I even talked my wife into trying the fried ice cream, and that was a treat. “Super friendly & professional staff. Fantastic views for outdoor dining (with provided flame pits for those if you who get chilly). I can't believe I'm saying this, but the food was ALMOST edible (that's a first for me in the Wenatchee / Quincy area, and the best compliment I can offer). I ordered fettuccini alfredo with chicken. There was a nice and subtle surprise of added red pepper, which gave the dish a gentle nudge of flavor. Though they had to go and ruin it with old, dry chicken and buried it in the sauce to try and hide its condition, like a blanket over the face of a disgraced celebrity running into the paparazzi. All these farms around here, and no fresh ingredients are used anywhere. And not one chef or decent cook to be found. Despite the food, the service truly was exceptional. It was a delight to interact with the staff.”

“originally from LA and these tacos are the best in Washington! Too bad I’m in Seattle or I would be here all the time!! The salsa was bomb, the grilled onions and jalapeños and the tacos were perfection I dont even want to eat in the town of Leavenworth so I could eat here, I miss real Mexican made tacos & he takes care of customers how they do in LA - with familiarity even tho it was my first time, respect, and communication PLUS he gave a to go box instead of handing the plate”
