Wheelhouse Restaurant

Went there for lunch after a fishing derby. My group of five was seated immediately and our beverage order taken. I had hot tea and the waitress was very attentive, checking to make sure I never ran out of hot water. Several of us had side salads and they were beautiful and very fresh. I enjoyed my prawns and fries, the prawns were cooked very nicely. My buddies raved over their burgers. The food was slightly slow to arrive would be the only negative thing I could possibly say. We enjoyed our meal very much. The restaurant was very pleasant and we felt very welcome.

This place sparkles with unexpectedly wonderful food, a great menu, service that shows the heartfelt intention of the owners to bring quality to the table! Try the meatloaf! The raspberry vinaigrette dressing is homemade...I have been searching the internet to find something like it to no avail! I am only going to quietly mention the bread pudding and homemade rolls...cause you will have to eat them if you order it!
It is a long drive for us and we will go back.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here. It has a fresh look inside. Service was excellent. The menu is vast, and in talking about it with other people who have eaten there, everyone thought their food was exceptional. Made from fresh ingredients, with care to details, and served promptly. They listen if you have special requirements and are very accommodating. The prices were another happy surprise...very reasonable. And they are now open for lunch as well as dinner.

Great family style restaurant! We have been there twice since they have opened. My husband really likes the chicken fried steak; and the spaghetti was great!! Worth going back again!

I took my wife and daughter Friday and everything was very good. The menu was great and the food was delicious. The owners are also very nice and we will go back soon.. worth your time to go..
