Very popular on a friday night . Made a phone in order . Picked it up hot and fresh when they said it would be ready .Got back to house and everything was as we ordered. Pizza was a smidge overdone but it was very end of night and i like mine real crispy.Friendly staff clean seating area .
i went here a week ago on a busy saturday morning, so we expected a wait time. but we didn’t think it would be about 20 minutes or so of waiting but they are a really small place and they were very busy. their food made up for this wait tho, they make their own root beer which is very good and they hand toss their pizza. we ordered a 16 inch meat lovers pizza, two root beer floats and cheese breadstick type things; all of that was so good! i really recommend this place to bring the family or your friends!
At noon in late February we have the place to ourselves. They have sports playing on TVs and music playing. They brought us each 3 tastes of various beers so we could choose what we wanted to order. The waitress then said she drinks half ‘n half Pineapple Cider and Ghost Ship IPA, both of which I liked. She brought me a taste of that and I ordered a pint. The Ghost Ship IPA by itself has a lovely strong hop aroma with medium bitterness. The Pineaple Cider is a delicious sweet cider.
We ordered a Green pizza: pesto, chicken, spinach, artichokes and substituted mushrooms for the green peppers. Fabulous pizza with a crispy crust.
Hearty sandwiches and not your average fries are a pirate's treasure. Dining room is small and fills quickly. I'd dine here, again.
Just up the street from Blackbeard's is the west port lighthouse. If your a light house collector this is one easy to miss. Open during the summer you can climb to the light itself. Light houses, like carriages, had a brief period in out history. They all are very interesting!
