Freeland Café and Lounge

I travel frequently for my work and for my leisure time I live on Whidbey Island and when I'm on the south end I usually go to this place because their staff is very very friendly and accommodating and their food is pretty good. Very often I will run into my friends here because we have the same taste it's a cozy Place their breakfast is excellent!

Like the addition of outdoor seating, really like that they have good food that's affordable. Nice waitpeople, too! Was there with a bunch of friends and it all was a fun morning.

This place is the cozy, small town diner you wish every quaint village had. My family has a weekend home on South Whidbey, just a mile from here, so the Freeland Cafe has been a staple since my childhood. My go-to is the Snapper Burger, but everything is tasty. Creaky wood floors and front door, the smell of coffee, mug cubbies...unchanged since I was 10.
