Agave Taqueria

I come to Whidbey for work every other week for the most part and always try to eat lunch at Agave. Friendly hard working staff and great food. I absolutely love their carnitas.

Super sweet and kind service. Very quick but good quality. Best tamales I've had in Washington. Interior is simple but nice, sunny, clean, practical.

Great food, I got a shrimp chimichanga. The shrimp was huge and lots of it. Fast friendly service made for an excellent experience.

This is my favorite Mexican food joint. It's not fancy and does have a greasy spoon vibe to it but the food is really good and they have fountain Pepsi which to me is awesome. You also get nice warm tortilla chips and salsa along with your order so you have something to much on while you wait for your order. One time I only ordered rice because I didn't have any at home to pack with my lunch and I still got those delicious chips and salsa along with it! ????

The one thing I don't like is it's not really cheap as one might expect it to be considering the low budget surroundings. Also, I hate to say this, but if the man is not the one cooking you have a chance the food will not be as good. Just thought I'd throw that out real quick. Not being mean or anything.

Agave is always excellent. A little Ma and Papa restaurant, staff are friendly and helpful. Food is great...best mole anywhere!
