All in all, a nice restaurant with good steaks, but quite overpriced. We are steak afficianados and must say we have had great steaks in many parts of the country. Alas, Seattle is not one of them. We have dined at multiple "high-end" steak restaurants in this area--Daniels now included--and have yet to find one that offers what we consider a truly top-notch meal at a reasonable price. To be fair, we aren't saying we had a bad experience at Daniel's, we just didn't have a dinner that lived up to the hype.
Our server was friendly but not professional; the appetizers came out ultra fast, but were only heat-lamp warm; the crab mac and cheese was a very small serving with almost no cheese, just mac; the steaks were extremely pricey and were touted as "US Prime", but we would expect a steak of that price to be at least 21-day aged. Bragging about your cuts being Prime is like bragging that your whiskey is aged.
Our 8p visit on Valentine's Day 2020 netted us a small table next to a waiter's station with a dumb-waiter door that opened several times while we were eating. Okay, it was a very crowded Friday night with Valentine's Day, but we expected a little better seating for our $500 meal than an over-flow after-thought table. Some reviewers have complimented their server for having them cut the steak to ensure it was done properly, which is a good practice, but this is something we always find at quality steak restaurants. It isn't unique to Daniels.
We are not likely to go to Daniels again. Way too expensive for what you get. A good example of selling the sizzle instead of the steak.

So delicious!! Went here for the first time on Valentines Day so it was busy to say the least! Our food came out promptly but we never felt rushed & our service was perfect! I wish I remembered our servers name- he was fantastic and very knowledgeable! We really enjoyed the bacon-wrapped scallops & lobster mashed potatoes. Both our steaks were cooked perfectly too. They ask you to cut it open when they deliver it to ensure it’s cooked properly which is a nice touch... there’s nothing worse than an overcooked steak!! They also have a very large wine list with a diverse range of prices to fit your price point. Overall, a lovely evening & I’m sure we will return!

Very good experience - both times we went. The first was for my birthday, and second for a friend's retirement celebration. Prime rib was absolutely delicious. Chilled seafood appetizer was fresh and good size. I wasn't too impressed with the Alaskan King Crab, was the meat was stiff and it definitely felt frozen to me. However, service is impeccable and they were kind enough to gift us a personal mini macaroon for our celebrations. Beautiful 21st floor window seat view. Would come again for the quality of food and great service.

We had a spectacular time in this amazing restaurant. Best steak in town. Views are fantastic and so is the view. Bar has a great selection of everything. Definitely a must visit place while in town. Just minites away from Seattle downtown
