Forgot to take a photo of my food before I finished but the pies here are really good. I've tried one of their chicken pies before as well as the minced meat pie today, and in the past the berries and custard pie and all of them were really good. I have a sweet tooth though so I loved the berries and custard pie the most.

The cafe interior is always really clean and nice, it's often pretty quiet which is nice to catch a break and eat some good food at a good price in often busy Bellevue.

Love their pies, great crust and awesome fillings. Had the chicken rings and my daughter loves the beef supreme. Only knock is on their breakfast pies, wish they had a bit more flavor...

Oh my gosh, this place is the BEST! Firstly, the pies are phenomenal. The breakfast pies are my personal favorite, but they’re genuinely all good! Secondly, the owner (I assume?) is the sweetest! He’s so happy to help and talk to you! He’s full of awesome dad jokes about pies, which is such a huge plus. When I ordered my pie, he made it fresh so I had to wait a few minutes. I sat at a table, and he brought it time a few minutes later! He left, but then came back with a cup of water for me to have with my food! I was blown away by the customer service! I was able to customize a few pies, which I greatly appreciate since I’m the pickiest person ever. I plan on going back later this week even though it’s not on my way to where I’m going, and will for sure be in whenever I’m at the mall. Would rate higher if possible!

Delicious pie! Had the steak and mushroom one, tasty and warm. We also tried the berries and vanilla custard sweet pie which was also good. I especially love the pastry.

The crust texture was great for holding and eating the pies. Minimal crumbs and they never fell apart / spilled filling.

As for flavor, I had the Minced Beef & Cheese and the Bacon, Egg, & Cheese. They were both good. The beef and cheese had some satisfying seasonings and reasonably deep flavor. The Bacon, Egg, & Cheese was very bacon-centric. There was a *lot* of bacon- almost to the exclusion of the egg and cheese, but it was good.

A friend got the berries & vanilla custard. He said the custard was very good, but it was clearly not well mixed. (Half the pie was custard, the other half was berries.)

For all that, I wouldn't mind going back, but I don't see myself really pushing for it. Maybe the base concept of hand pies isn't as exciting to me as I'd expect. But it was generally well-executed for what it was.
