McMenamins Tavern on the Square

This place is very cool. It's like a resort in a way, where there's multiple bars and restaurants in an area and you can carry your drinks around the compound without having to finish them.

The redone school buildings are nicely remodeled, and the courtyard has burn pits and lots of seating - it must be a real sight in the summer months.

Definitely one of the more unique establishments.

Service was very friendly and efficient. Our server gave great input on the foods we were trying to choose from. The food came out hot and delicious. We could definitely eat here several more times.

I wish I could leave a better review. The atmosphere is great, but the food and service is lacking. I blame the management. This is just my impression, but they seem to want to serve as many people as they can without properly staffing. It can take forever to get a refill on a drink. There have been times when I can walk to the bar and get it faster then what it would take for my waiter to come back. Its a fun place, just head in with your patience.

Very elegant and convenient place. They provide generous meals and for affordable prices. I enjoyed the food a lot and the staff members were very attentive and explanatory. I recommend this place.

My wife and I came in here on new year's eve and it was great. Very fun and friendly staff. They have several vegan options on the menu. We shared some fries with our beer and it was delicious. We will be back!
