(February 4, 2020, 11:23 pm)Good place but seemed expensive for what we got! Simple, good food. Homemade. I had cup of soup & half turkey sandwich and water. Plus kid's meal of a 1/2 turkey sandwich & bag of chips. We just got water. Paid $18.00 plus change. Nice, homey decor!

(May 26, 2019, 12:23 am)Ate lunch at The Boarding House after shopping last month. I ordered the ham and Swiss grilled sandwich. I felt I overpaid for a sandwich I could have made of equal quality at home. The rye bread and mustard were very tasty, though, and the cheese melted into wonderful strings. The pros of this restaurant were the charming atmosphere and super quick service. Next time I'm in Gilman Village I will probably try eating somewhere else.
