We were not hungry and just want to check this place out before we fly back to California. We did not believe their warning! Now we advise that if you visit and plan to order their specials, be prepared to be wowed! It would be best to have have a friend or a big appetite! The place is so cool and has that museum feel! You must keep track of the time when looking at them! If you plan to bring their burgers on the plane, be prepared to be pulled aside by TSA agents because they will not believe that what they are seeing on the scanner is just a "burger". ????
This place was fun, lots of 50s car memorabilia. The place was super busy, but they took our order quickly and brought out our food in a timely manner. The food (the 3 adults ordered the bacon cheese burger) and milkshakes (2 mocha shakes and a rootbeer float) were great and the staff attentive. No complaints.
This is a must experience restaurant at least once. The food is great and guaranteed to increase your risk of heart attack. The burgers are huge, greasy, and amazing. There are always interesting cars around and the staff is likely to come take a look if one of the interesting cars is yours. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating.
Great food and great atmosphere. I've loved this place since first coming years ago but was disappointed today when I received terrible service. I realize I was by myself and obviously not a big tip potential table, but ANY service would have been appreciated. I tried to be understanding because a large group was leaving and the restaurant was busy so a single table can easily be overlooked.
After realizing you forgot about me for 15 minutes, ya' doubled down and forgot to bring me water until I had to ask for it AGAIN when my food arrived. We're talking 40 minutes before I get water.
Maybe what irks me the most is that no one addressed the obvious blunders but instead went with the deer in a headlights look towards me when re-re-realizing my presence. Best ignore the issue right?
Here's the self fulfilling prophecy:
No one wants the single table right? Never good tips so you have to take it but it's low priority. Bummer. Proceed to give bad service and receive no tip...I wonder why? Oh ya, because everyone knows no tips from single tables...duh.
A Fantastic Great American Experience! This place is absolutely brimming with Americana Memorabilia of all kinds! This place is legendary for more than one thing: An amazingly huge burger! XXX Root Beer (one of a kind)! The biggest Root Beer Floats you have ever seen! And a great venue for car shows with a long history of great car shows and lots and lots of car show memorabilia. What a fantastic experience.
