Cedar + Elm

Really a beautiful lodge. Service was great. However the food was extremely over priced for the quality of food we recieved. In no way am I complaining about the service because the servers and staff were all great, but the food was not what we expected for the price. I believe with simplifying menu and lowering the prices, this place would be a great place to go and have a nice night out. The rooms and the bars throughout the lodge were very cozy and great spots to go have cocktails. Bar service was also great.

Cedar + Elm is an example of hospitality! Management and Staff you guys have done well! Thank you for a great experience every time we come.

To all: a morning stroll or an afternoon hike on St Edwards trails can be complemented by a good meal at this classy place .. I highly recommend!

Had just an incredible meal and service. They had a st. patty’s day special, incredible tender brisket with a crust and charred cabbage, potato prosciutto flatbread and Brussels. Everything was perfectly done abs their wine list is so well curated. Service was impeccable, what a gem!

Our experience here and the food was excellent 😊 We shared the bread plate as an appetizer. The olive topenade was a blend of unique flavors with a bit of spice.
We also shared the roasted parsnip and cauliflower soup and the crispy shaved celery salad. For our entrees, we had the pork chop and the sea bass.
We came here on a Tuesday night and our service was prompt and attentive.

Pros - our server was wonderful and attentive, if her attitude and friendliness was all I was basing this review on, five stars would not be enough. The ambiance is very cool and this is a unique spot. The views are quite lovely from the restaurant and it was really fun to take in.

Cons - for the price, the food did not match in quality. The sea bass was a little too salty and the Brussels sprouts overcooked. The non alcoholic drink options were limited as well.

I think overall, this is a place in transition with a new executive chef. I would be curious to come back and see what changes are made as it comes into its own as a restaurant. It seems like details are still being sorted out and I wouldn't count it out just yet with such stellar staff and potential.
