Great addition to the neighborhood. We have been here several times and have not been let down yet. Each time we go it seems better than the last. Their drinks are fun and delicious and their food is amazing. Definitely recommend you check them out!
Love where The Guest House is located. We can in with a party of three and sat at the tall table in the bar. Great setting and decor. Attentive staff. I ordered the Breakfast Sandwich with sausage and a side of delicata squash and greens. The sandwich was delicious but the greens were bitter and inedible. Overall, I had a great experience.
The Guest House is absolutely delightful. The service is not only efficient, but genuinely enjoyable. Everyone is not only personable, but it feels as though they're happy to see you there. The food is delicious also. We've had pizza, pasta, meatballs, and burgers- so, what I feel like is a fairly diverse sampling of their menu- and it has all been top notch. Their mixed drinks are enjoyable. So often I order a drink and it just tastes sweet; not at the Guest House though!
I would note that if you do not like to wait, plan ahead because they do take reservations. Seriously, if going in there and hearing that the wait is an hour long will make you feel less than satisfied- make that reservation, because they are such a great experience.
Probably biased because of proximity, but I really appreciate how the staff are focused on providing a good experience. It's always fun to geek out with the bartender, as a cocktail aficionado. Getting a seat is sometimes an issue, but that's not a bad problem to have. I hope they're able to address the demand as it grows.
Love this restaurant! We sit at the bar and meet our neighbors and have great drinks and food. Kevin, the chef and owner, is always friendly and takes his menu seriously, and by that I mean: serious flavors, serious deserts, seriously tasty! This is worth a visit for dinner, happy hour & brunch! Tyler, the bar manager, and his bartending team will make you a delicious mixed drink or get you a beer on tap with a smile and a wink. ;)
Make sure you try them out!
