This place is excellent. Whether you want comfort food or something more exciting, the menu has many options. In particular, the creamy mushroom soup and shredded chicken salad are exceptional. Today we tried other options and they are also very good! Squid ink Noodle salad, chicken soup noodle, seafood chicken soup with rice, and flat bread with eggplant.

This place has its own pros and cons, yet it is indubitably an one-of-a-kind restaurant that offers a well-tailored list of unique cuisines.
If you are accustomed to Americanized Chinese food, there are better places than this. If you want something spicy and numb or excessively flavored, there are more suitable places than this. If you are in the midst of haste, there are much faster-paced places than this.
If you happen to have an opportunity to sit back and take your time to whole-heartily imbibe the mild and rich broth, you will find out the uniqueness about this place. If you can take a step further to look around and enjoy the interior decoration and the atmosphere it intends to inspire, you will find that it would dovetail with the taste of the foods in revealing a sense of halcyon hospitality. For this reason, a dine-in experience is quite different from that of deliver or take-out.
In addition, the newly-changed menu is a plus for me personally.
Thus, I would not say that this place is an one-size-fits-all dining choice, but rather a cozy recess for someone looking for a specific comfort and no-rush dining experience.

    UPDATE:

They have changed their menu, and I think some of the items are over-priced. The chicken noodle soup is still good and within budget.

Not my favorite, but I enjoyed the food and the creative effort that was put into the recipes as well as the restaurant itself. The smoked bresse chicken has a very mild flavor. It does nit taste smoked at all, was a bit dry, and could have used a simple salt and pepper seasoning when it was cooked; it was just OK. Our other dishes were also OK, but really didn’t peak my “Wow” factor. They definitely used quality ingredients and combined flavors with quality vegetables. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, but I have to take off one star because one of the items I ordered was never brought to the table, and my table server attempted to charge me for it anyways upon checkout. That wasn’t a big deal overall, but it is a basic part of the service experience that shouldn’t happen, especially at a time of day when the restaurant wasn’t operating anywhere near full capacity. They staff were nice enough though, overall I enjoyed my meal.

This is the only Chinese restaurant I would like to come back to eat again immediately after check out. Most of the other restaurants I have experienced so far are: first couple of bites are great, then gradually food flavor in my mouth Starts to diminish its flavor and become boring, near the end of the meal, usually already made up my mind deciding not to come back again. But this restaurant's food is so good and well cooked, the authentic flavor coming from real food( not spices or soy sauce) constantly stimulates my taste buds from the beginning to the end. Highly recommend braised chicken, chicken hot pot, best noodles, Premium Pork meat, unique dessert… my mouth starts to water as I'm writing this…
