Pomegranate Bistro

Came here at the suggestion of a friend. I was vaguely aware this place was here having driven past it for years, but I had never actually gone in. I am glad we tried it. Prices are a bit above casual lunch prices but the quality and preparation of the food appears worth it if you're looking for an elevated experience.

Had the Cobb salad with chicken, which at (I believe) $18 is maybe a couple bucks above average price, but the salad was above average. All the individual parts stood well on their own, and the result was a very tasty and filling lunch.

The story I was told is this space used to serve as the kitchen for a very skilled caterer who eventually opened the restaurant, and it has expanded from there. I would absolutely love to go to a party catered by these folks!

All in all, I will certainly come back. Next time I will probably try the taco Tuesday special. I'd also enjoy coming back for dinner, and try some of the more adventurous entrees.

Visit here often, convenient and always able to get a seat. Comfortable ambience in both restaurant and bar and I love the goody/bakery counter. Attentive staff and food is consistent tho my pork belly was a little chewy this time around.

Got into town for our honeymoon and we were starving, luckily found this place still open. They were supposed to be closing soon and let us come in and have full service and were so kind! The place is gorgeous the food was spectacular and would recommend 10/10.

Scott was perfect and made the end to our wedding day all come togerher.

Great breakfast fare. I don't love the menus for lunch and dinner, but others I have gone with do like it. Very nice desserts. Dining room looks in to a commercial catering kitchen. Sometimes you can see cool things being made, unusually just a view of giant sized mixers, pots, etc.

Very good breakfast! Nice atmosphere. They have a bakery and cafe at the entrance if you are looking for a quick coffee and pastry as well as full sit down breakfast. The shrimp and grits are very good, as well as the biscuits and gravy. Its a cheddar biscuit, need I say more. They also have a chicken and waffles that is delicious.
