Enjoyed it all. Good food, presentation and service. Greeted when we arrived around 1:15 on Superbowl Sunday. A 10 minute wait on a very busy day speaks well for their reasonable time from order to delivery to table. We did scrambles, omelets, pancakes and crepes. All were excellent diner quality. We ate more than intended, but still brought home leftovers. Our waitress was very attentive checking on us just at the right times. We will definitely be coming back again.
A very friendly, small town diner atmosphere. I go there once or twice a week for breakfast and have never had a bad experience. I recommend the almond crusted French toast. Absolutely incredible.
Love this place for a weekend breakfast. The servers are always personable no matter how busy they are. The food is consistently good. We love the veggie hash and berry blintz.
I've been going to Village Square Cafe since I was a small child. I have never had a dish that I didn't love; though I do tend to stick to my favorites.
I absolutely love their Monte Cristo Sandwich, if you like Savory+Sweet food combinations it's a good sandwich for that. I love their potato pancakes, more like stuffed hash browns than a pancake but so delicious and crunchy to boot; take their suggestion and get it with the sour cream and applesauce. Again it sounds crazy, but it honestly works! I love getting the bacon waffle with an egg on the side, and the waffles are thin and crispy on the edges with a softer center; essentially their waffles no matter what type you get are perfect. If you love milkshakes theirs comes with a refill.
I love taking people here, for breakfast or lunch!
Excellent. Absolutely excellent. The food was amazing, service was exceptional and the atmosphere was home-town. I personally judge a brunch restaurant on its ability to do pancakes and Eggs Benedict. I was not disappointed! The sauce was rich and creamy, the ham soft and the English muffin crunchy. The pancakes were fluffy without being dense and were flavorful enough on their own with only a little butter.
