Shari's Cafe and Pies

Very beautifully landscaped, gorgeous older buildings. Ate lunch there and had the bbq chicken and it was amazing. First time I had been wine tasting and enjoyed it. Did not take the tour due to being on a time crunch but the info about it seemed like it would have been awesome to do. Seating was limited which was unfortunate. Overall a very good experience. Was with a group of 9 girls and everything went smooth enough. Would definitely recommend and go back. Picture attached is of all of us girls that went

There is something particularly special about a pie and coffee spot. It represents a combination of the small town, slow feel of American life with the adventure of travel. Shari's is a local chain in Seattle that provides a simple and easy atmosphere with amazing pies and solid, regular black coffee.

The place was short staffed and it showed. After a two hour process, having 2 of the 6 dishes returned, our families left Shari's laughing and still enjoying the evening thanks to the fantastic service of Timothy. He rolled with the punches, cracked jokes with the kids, and he took care of his customers (not just our table but his entire area), even when we were visibily frustrated. We've been coming here for years, and have seen some aspects of their quality control have declined, but they still have great employees who genuinely care about their customers.

It’s been there for 30 years with some interior pieces (please never change) from past operations creating atmosphere of coziness and warmth.
The place itself is clean and light filled.
Menu is printed on a brand new paper but it is old time favorite.
Eggs Benedict are fresh -just made for you-
I stop by to take home marionberry pie in January and February, or strawberry rhubarb, both make winter’s cold and rain go away)
There is something good and calm for the mind to feel not rushed, stare in the window, watch traffic flowing by and have a non pretentious conversation with a friend over a breakfast at this place.

Inside was clean, and being morning we were able to get seated quickly and ordered. Service was great, kept the coffee filled if wanted and other drinks as well. Food was good, will prepped.

Overall good experience with a good quick breakfast.
