Judy recently catered a 30-person event for me. We had a delicious mix of meat and vegetarian dishes and PLENTY of injeera. Highly recommend her for catering, your morning coffee and pastry or lunch/dinner.

My husband and I moved into the area yesterday and when we asked some local friends what their #1 preferred place to eat at was, they recommended Amy’s Merkato Ethiopian cafe. So we stopped by last night an hour before closing and were greeted so warmly by the owners who welcomed us to the neighborhood with complementary spiced tea. I’d never tried Ethiopian food before but I’m so glad my first experience was here. The food was so flavorful and the service was fantastic!!! My husband and I can’t wait to become regulars. ????

Delicious food with authentic spices. Friendly and prompt service. "Serious about the coffee." Nice selection of lentils, peas, chickpea, and spices. The enjera is great!

Little beautiful gem at the end of colombia city. They have fresh pastry and delicious meals. Owners are super friendly. They play really nice classic music inside. Perfect place to read and study while you are eating your food.

Wonderful food! This is the location of my favorite veggie platter, excited to discover this place and look forward to trying more dishes. Love that there’s also a pastry case with house-made treats, yummy Ethiopian coffee, and a little market with fresh spices, dried legumes, interesting condiments, cookies and such. Sit down or take-out.. The owners are kind and friendly, too. Great neighborhood place.
