Canterbury Ale House

Parking was absolutely horrible, Had to smell other people's pot being smoked walking into the restaurant. The French dip and the chicken strips were very good. You have to order at the bar and in wait in line again at the bar to pay that sucked. The clam chowder was mediocre at best.

They have always taken good care of us. The Manager Erwin is on top of things and the staff is very accommodating. It's always a pleasure doing business with the Canterbury! Stop on in! The atmosphere is refreshing with comfy seating!

I pick up a fair amount of food there for customers. The service is great. I have only been in a couple of times but each time, immediate service, huge flat screens on multiple walls, a pool table, lots of space to relax, nice booths. The food is good according to the customers I deliver for. The only reason I didn't give a 5* is poor parking. Otherwise, its a historic restaurant that locals love on capital hill.
