Emerald City Fish & Chips

The chowder is excellent. We also had the chicken and Alaskan cod meals which were good. The fish was fresh, the tartar sauce was good and the fries were good. Would recommend. It's more of a southern style but works well.

So good! Cod n fish, clam n chips, crab puppies and the seafood gumbo were all delicious.... hard to find good gumbo in Seattle. Slaw was good and wasn’t soggy. Spicy tartar sauce was yummy. Price was affordable. Definitely would go back. Gumbo is only Mon and Tuesday.

Friendly staff. Had a sample of their Salmon Chowder and it was surprisingly good. The crab hush puppies are unique, and not bread heavy. We were expecting the traditional British style fish and chips but it is more like southern/Cajun style fried seafood. The Alaskan cod had good flavors and would recommend that to try.

Buttermilk pie!! Order it so it never goes off the menu. Please! You will not be disappointed. Think halfway between flan and pumpkin pie but my wife doesn’t like either of those and loves this.

Oh and the fried food is hot, freshly prepared for your order and delicious.

And the place is clean and smells good.

And your food is so hot and crispy I would just eat in if there is space. We got in the car and had to have a bite and basically just decided to eat most of it right there. Just don’t fryer-steam burn your mouth.

I went here with my mom today for lunch and it was SO delicious and the staff was super friendly and sweet. We had the halibut + chips and the salmon chowder. Everything was amazing! The fish was thick and juicy and not too greasy, coleslaw was crisp, and fries were seasoned with flavorful spices. Tartar sauce was delicious. The staff chatted us up in such a sweet way and even gave us a little buttermilk pie gift. Will go here a bunch more!
