Fat's Chicken and Waffles

The fried chicken and waffle concept is intriguing, but difficult to pull execute. The challenge being to deliver a waffle that is hot and crispy outside with a soft and tender inside. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to overcome this challenge.
The catfish was perfectly executed tender, flaky, and seasoned well.
The biscuit and fried chicken is the way to go for sure, packed with flavor and texture that will send your tastebuds on a pleasure cruise. What the waffle lacked they made up for with everything else!

Oh wow, my friend's and told me that Fat's was good, but I had no idea! Brunch here is freaking great. I and the Biscuit Sandwich and my friend had the Eggs Benedict. Both were cooked to perfection and with such good flavors! Service was wonderful and the staff was super friendly and attentive. That is hands down some of the best gravy. Definitely recommend this place! Great laid back vibe and seating for small and larger parties. We showed up around 12:30 on Sunday and got in just in time to grab a table before the place filled back up with customers. Go check them out for some seriously good food and drinks!

I adore the staff at this amazing and cozy restaurant. If you want soul food, this is your new place for brunch AND dinner. I’ve been here probably more than ten times.

More than worth the wait. Portion sizes are great. Prices amazing. But the food and drinks will blow your mind. The waitresses bring that southern hospitality I know and love. As a transplanted Arkansan, this place DELIVERS on all things fried, creole, and cocktails.

Favorites are: chicken and waffles (obviously), honey butter chicken biscuit, shrimp and grits with a G&G or Pimm’s!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The service, atmosphere, and charm of this place make it worth the trip alone. But the food will leave you craving this place over and over. Easily some of the best chicken I've ever had. Since we were visiting Seattle without a car this was a bit off the beaten path, but I'm so glad we took the chance and went!

Super nice people, but the wait for 3 of us was 45 minutes, and once seated and each of us ordered uncomplicated chicken and waffles, we waited another 20 minutes for the food to come. It was disappointingly mediocre.
The chicken [breast] was dry, the waffles were thin and flat and kinda fell apart... it was just way different than its excellent rating led us to expect!

Super nice people and I’d come back if the group wanted to, but I wouldn’t go out of my way. Lots of other dishes being served at other tables looked really good, so maybe we just got a bad batch?
