Zagol Ethiopian restaurant

Its a small mom and pop restaurant. I loved the veggie combo - serving size is pretty big, good for 2 people. They also make traditional Ethiopian coffee. Customer service was average, however food was amazing.

Very average place. We ordered one of the chicken dishes and it was like boiled chicken soup. Veggie combo was ok but I've had better. Place is pretty shabby looking with a strong smile smell from adjacent room for 21 and over. Nothing to go back for except the hot sauce.

First Ethiopian Restaurant (in Seattle) in my experience going beyond what is in the menu...we asked for things our kids like, they made for them and surprised us one of the special order our kid ordered is free for him.

Very good selection of both meat and vegetarian dishes. Friendly staff. A great experience.

Really excellent meal and gracious service at Zagol this evening. We had quite a few food issues in our group and they did a wonderful job of accommodating our various needs. The food, including a new dish they haven't yet added to the menu, was delicious, and I had a glass of honey wine that was one of the best I've ever had. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, and while the food did take a while, that was understandable given our large party size. I'm looking forward to going back in a more intimate group.
