We had a great time! The breakfasts were great and they were more than willing to accommodate any changes we had. The rooms were clean and everyone was very friendly. Highly recommended!

The service was excellent. The food was excellent. The ambience and the decor were excellent. It was the bed and breakfast place I have ever stayed in.

House is in a great neighborhood with plenty of parking. I was most impressed with their attention to detail on both the accommodations and breakfast. The place is exceptionally clean and beds are very comfortable. We stayed in the cascade room and found it to be quiet with little road or other guest noise.

My wife and I stayed at the Greenlake for two nights and loved our stay. The things we take away from our stay was the lovely neighborhood location (take a stroll down to the lake and just see how vibrant this neighborhood is), to the well appointed room and amenities, the gourmet breakfast served with French pressed coffee or just get a latte or cappuccino. Then there is the proximity to downtown Seattle, but most importantly our hosts Julie and Blayne because they took the opportunity to spend a little time with us and provided great recommendations. For example, they mentioned the Seattle Savor tour, which provides you with tastings from different vendors and restaurants at the Pike Place Market as well as providing history about the market. Again, we really enjoyed our stay and are already thinking of coming back to stay here when we come back to the Northwest.

With a five-star bed & breakfast such as the Greenlake Guest House, the “tangibles” – a beautiful house meticulously maintained and scrupulously clean, first-class appointments, comfortable furnishings, delicious breakfasts – are almost a given. At that level, it’s the people who make the difference. What we’ll remember most fondly was sitting with the owners, Blayne and Julie, one evening (well past the wine hour, cutting into their normal dinnertime), visiting, hearing about their history with the house, and touring the splendid kitchen. Talking with the assistant innkeepers over breakfast was also delightful.
