This fish and clam quick service bar is a Seattle tradition. The clam chowder and clam order is great. Don't forget to get some cole slaw.

It really is possible to get a great bowl of white clam chowder and tasty -- tasty! -- halibut, cod, oysters or clams & chips at a walk-up fast-food restaurant. That place is Ivar's. Keep clam, my friends, keep clam.

Today I had a great experience at Ivar's. Clean restaurant, pleasant workers. The food was especially yummy too.

    Excellent Chowder, Seafood, and Service!

A mistake was made on our order, and the staff went above and beyond to correct it. The food was delicious, and, for the quality, much cheaper than a full service seafood restaurant. We'll definitely be back!

This is our favorite fish and chips place. They are very friendly and welcoming. Fish and chips are always good and crisp. The white chowder is great. Grilled salmon salad is a good option for us - much cheaper than at other restaurants.
