I enjoyed this location on a couple fronts. The food was good. BBQ isn't easy to do on a massive scale. I appreciated the Brisket I had, as well as the chili. Their portion sizes were just about right. Not low pricing, but not out of bounds either. I would give this 4.5 stars, which unfortunately is not an option.

This place is insanely great! My husband loves good BBQ and this place is amazing. Plus the service was so refreshing, so pleased, we will be back soon!! Definitely worth the drive if you're not close, you won't regret it.

Been here just once for dinner service and I hear good things. But I just wasn't very impressed with the food. It was not bad! But portions where petite and while the sausage was tasty but nothing else really struck me as exceptional.

In this kind of restaurant I expect the food to be hot, brown, simple but tasty, and with generous portions.

I like the decor/character, atmosphere and service was good; I'll give it another try.

Jacks has become my favorite place for BBQ in the Northwest. Being a transplant from eastern NC, I have experienced some of the best BBQ ( pork...is there any other kind) in the world. I have had the pulled pork and brisket sandwiches that are my absolute favorites. The brisket is tender, juicy and has the best smoky flavor of any I’ve had. The Texas caviar side is very tasty as well as the beans, slaw, and potato salad. I recently stopped in on a Tuesday for the beef rib. It was a disappointment. It was tough, dry and had cartilage that I couldn’t cut with a knife. At $24/lb, it was a huge letdown. I stopped in with a friend and decided to try the pork rib plate. Another disappointment. Very dry and could hardly pull it from the bone. I will continue to dine at Jacks but will not be ordering the ribs.

The brisket was just off the charts good. Oh my goodness. I don't know if I've ever had something so delicious. Also the folks working were extremely courteous even though we arrived fairly late. Love this place. Will go back for sure.
