Aside from an overall great menu, wonderful drinks and friendly staff, they have the best crackers I have ever had the honor of enjoying.
Super chill and quiet place to grab a drink. The drinks tended towards a vinegar flavoring, our favorite ended up being the kvass.
The place is super small & cozy and had pretty dim lights. I love this intimate vibe in a bar/pub and even though we were seated pretty close to another group, it still felt pretty private. I ordered a non-alcoholic pickled rhubarb drink which I liked but if you're not a fan of sour tasting drinks you wont like it.
Ordered a bunch of food but my fav were the smoked wings (tasted really good and a great value for money) and the wheat berry lamb bowl. The grain bowls were very filling even though they dont look like a lot, deceptively. Multigrain Crackers & Dips/Einkorn chicken bowl/Whole Grain Fudge Brownie & Oat Toffee were decent. I wasnt a fan of Crispy Rice, Legumes, Grains & Chilis appetizer. The service was good and attentive without being intrusive.
I'll definitely come back to try their drinks and other food items. Really, really loved the overall ambience and glad to have this bar in the neighborhood!
WORTH EVERY STAR AND MORE! I had cocktail withdrawal syndrome as soon as we left the bar to have dinner next door!
Excellent focused menu. High prices match the high value of the food and drinks here.
