More of a coffee person but tea has been slowly growing on me. Especially this cute shop
They have so many interesting teas to choose from in the little booklet. But if it were me, I would start by snagging a seat. Side note, such a good amount of seating. It’s been busy every time we’ve been so maybe split up the seat search and queueing.
About $7.50 for the tea pot and you can ask nicely for more hot water to steep your tea a second time. (I’m too scared but I guess you can hehe) The tea lattes are good too! Definitely a louder, more social, tea shop so good luck working here. Anyway, can we have something like this up north? It would be my new haunt I’m sure
Love all the tea they have here. As someone who loves Chinese teas it is a great place to go! I will be going back here again.
This is a fantastic place to get tea/lattes, tea accessories or loose leaf! They have one of the best selections of both traditional teas and unique blends I've found in Seattle or Portland.
Also, their food and pastries are similarly top-notch; even if you're not a big tea person, I'm sure you'll enjoy a nice bite!
I’ve came to Miro Tea more times than I can remember now. It’s definitely my favorite spot for tea as well as for relaxing or getting work done.
The staff are always friendly and welcoming. When you walk in the vibe is zen with some nice merchandise for sale on the right. There is some baked pastry’s on display that also have some gluten and dairy free options available (the brownie is pretty good). They have three to four tea tasting sets available for sampling daily that from what I noticed rotate daily.
My favorite part of the experience is that the staff and owner Jeannie are passionate about tea and it translates back towards the customer in every experience. Ordering isn’t complicated even there are so many options. The teas are consistently steeped, and you can even have a second steep if you so desire.
The only thing that could be improved upon is the trash area and tea sets. On a busy day it can get clustered and there is occasionally no place to put the dishes down.
Overall, excellent experience! I really enjoy the green teas with gyokuro being my favorite. I see myself coming to the place for as long as I’m in Seattle.
