Nishino is good. Fancy Japanese restaurant. The fish tastes good. You can taste the ocean with it. The tempura is also good. Very traditional looking. The staff is very nice. The atmosphere is peaceful and calm. The bar looks good, you can see the sushi master making food.
Be sure to make a reservation! Pricey but not unreasonable because everything I ate was extremely high quality! The service was top of the line and overall it was a fantastic experience.
I got one of their special rolls wrapped in an egg crepe and a Chirashi bowl that was super well made and tasty (loved how thick the tuna slices were!)
Very interesting food, so flavorful and nuanced. This is not a sushi bar restaurant, they have a full sushi bar but it is so much more with a taste extravaganza on the menu. Actually affordable!
Best sushi in Seattle. At least that's what we think. Have been going since years. Quality levels stayed excellent during all the time. Very friendly assertive service. Sushi is authentic Japanese. No bells and whistles. Just plain fresh fish and perfect preparation. Menu changes frequently and tries to source pacific northwestern local ingredients. Highly recommend.
