Ate at the cafe upstairs for the first time. Hostess was great, we didn't make a reservation and there was barely a wait time. Waiter was good, busy but still attentive. Had some chowder and some fish and chips. My only complaint was I had to ask for tarter sauce. Other than that, good food and service with a million dollar view for a reasonable price. Will be taking the family here more often.
Top notch food & service. Came here back in August of 2019 for our Anniversary. Had the Ahi Tuna, steamer clams & clam chowder. Everything was AMAZING BUT especially the clam chowder & steamer clams. I don't typically do clam chowder but Ray's was out of this World! Do yourself a favor & TRY IT OUT FOR YOURSELF! You WILL NOT be disappointed!
With the flashing neon sign out front and the modest exterior, I was delightfully surprised at how upscale the restaurant was! The food was quite good, the atmosphere was cozy, and we were seated by a window that gave us a lovely view of the water as the sky was darkening for the evening. Every member of the staff was particularly pleasant, warm, and attentive, from the host and hostess, to the waitress, to the sommelier, to the busboy. Definitely worth a repeat visit!
Came for the oysters and seafood and Ray's did not disappoint. The waitress was very helpful in assisting us in ordering oysters. We had the crab and salmon and both were delicious. Nice atmosphere. Ordered a mule for a drink and it was also very good.
