This is our first time in this restaurant.
The staff at the door took our names and texted us when our table was ready.
Our waiter's name was Eric and he made our experience very pleasant
The place is inviting. You could watch the cooks through the glass working in a clean environment.
The food was very good and we will definitely be back.
Place is okay. Taiwanese friend said this is one of the best Taiwanese restaurant in Seattle but I find the food not to my tasting. It is definitely very unique though and authentic.
I had the stinky tofu, oyster omelet, and fried pork intestines. Of the the dishes I have had stinky tofu and oyster omelet in Taiwan. The two dishes are very common sights in Taiwanese night markets. Both dishes were nearly spot on. I would say that the tofu was slightly heavier than what I'd prefer and the omelet has less oyster then one would expect if you've had it in a Taiwanese night market. Other than those minor critiques, my time at the restaurant was full of pleasant surprises. The stinky tofu came with a good serving of Taiwanese kimchi, which in itself was delightful.
The fried intestines were good. I would have preferred it crispier and spicier, but their take on the dishes is still good.
I did manage to sample the Taiwanese meat ball, scallion pancakes, and sweet and sour fried fish. All are worth a try and are done rather well.
Friendly staff. Almost like a mom & pop hole-in-the-wall feel. Large menu with a good variety of Taiwanese dishes. Highly recommend the Home Made Hand Shaved Noodles (#37).
