My 8 year old says the gyoza is nummy. Solid quality teriyaki for a reasonable price.
Consistently killin' it on my shrimp yakisoba.
Prices are yes, a little high, but it usually ends up being two portions for me, and my husband takes advantage of their "daily combo/special".
Also, the staff are lovely people.
Has the obvious huge selection of teriyaki and combinations, but the rest of the menu is just as large and delicious. Little higher price but portions are appropriate sized. Salad dressing also has peanut sauce in it. Friendly staff and home feeling.
My husband and I are very picky, and we were both happy with the food and price!! I had a couple pieces of chicken that were overcooked, but the rest --and all of my husband's portion-- were moist and tender. The teriyaki was perfect, with extra sauce available on the tables. The salad dressing was delicious and the rice cooked perfectly. The portion size is great for $7.45!! They have a lunch special for $5, and evidently their spicy chicken is amazing. We'll definitely be back!
It's a simple, no-frills ambience, with walk-up counter service and a large, pictorial menu high on the wall. It seems like a family spot, with Ballard High posters mixed in with the artwork. The guy working the register was friendly, and the food came out pretty fast. They seem to have many regular customers and do a lot of take-out, from what we saw while eating in. Comfy seats!
