Taqueria Cantina

Hands down our new favorite Mexican restaurant in Seattle! Tortillas are made fresh in the restaurant. Tacos are so tasty- the meat is cooked really well and the spices/flavors are out of this world. I had the breakfast burrito and it was hearty and delicious. We stumbled upon this place when we were looking for a quick Sunday brunch without a long wait... and found a gem! Would love to come back for dinner in the future.

Normally I'd give this place three stars, but the service was so incredible I had to give it four. Much like other reviews, I'd say the food was good but not great. My husband really liked his burrito but found it to be small. I had the fajitas. I wasn't expecting "wet" meaning sauced meat based on the menu but I gave it a try. It was all right. The place has a ton of character with writing on almost every inch of every wall. They were clean and convenient. We stopped here while walking to Seattle Center from the aquarium. There was no wait and a good amount of seating. Our server was funny, fast, and very kind. We even drew on the wall before heading out.

The owner and Alex are AWESOME!! We left to go to the secret room and went back just to have their service. It was awesome. We celebrated our friends birthday and she enjoyed it. A lot!!

The staff is great, the food is okay. Nothing here really stuck out to me besides the attentive service. I do wish that I liked the food more but the nachos, fresco salsa and enchilada I had were all just okay.
