I like the food at Veggie Grill, but had a good experience at this location in particular. I made a stupid mistake and placed a pickup order at a different location (in a different state). The manager here put in a new order for my food, without charging me, like it was no big deal. After feeling stupid it was great to have someone who was understanding and accommodating
Faux meat is surprisingly real-tasting, though the texture is a little off when comparing to non-ground meat. I would recommend things like the buffalo wings/salad, where the texture matters less compared to any dish with large chunks of "grilled chickin".
All of the soups have also been wonderful.
We ordered a zucchini paleo bowl without the fake meat and a buffalo wrap and hail kale salad. To pay $12 for zucchini was a crazy but it was delicious and topped with roasted dried tomatoes and garlic. Very satisfying. The salad was also delicious and had a sweet dressing. The buffalo wrap had a nice spicy tang. I did look at other tables and some of the plates advertised as being able to “feed two” wouldn’t. The avocado toast for instance is one piece of bread that looked delicious but it was cut in half to serve two. The table next to us was confused as well.
Update: I was in the neighborhood again and stopped in for “avocado toast for two” and a side of cauliflower. They were both extremely tasty and flavorful but I stand with my original claim that neither of these would feed two as a meal. They could be used as an appetizer before mains. Service is always friendly and efficient.
Lots of menu choices. Vegan can bring a friend who is a meat eater and both will be happy.
The servers/ cashier is exceptionally friendly and upbeat. Wish they had a restaurant in Federal Way.
