“The food, Fresh and full of flavor. The deep fried crab with curry sauce was a highlight, a visual centerpiece to a spectacle of a meal. They were so inviting and hospitable. Made us all feel like members of their family.”

“Let's start with the good, I enjoyed my Tuna melt. It had a great taste to it and all in all was a solid showing. Not overly toasted, tuna tasted great, and whatever they did to give the melt some flavor was fine by me. The cost is for me one of the negatives. The melt was a bit on the pricey side (roughly $18). Another negative was overall portions for what the table ordered just felt small. The mac and cheese is just overpriced for how small it is, I feel I need to call that out. The mac and cheese is not a shareable and it wasn't ordered to be one either, it's just way too small even for one person is what I'm saying. Lots of game options and the servers were nice, no complaints there. My iced tea never got a refill and unfortunately they weren't good about getting water. But hey, that's how it goes sometimes, overall they were people just doing their best. Overall it's a nice place for some games and I'd give it another go. Just wouldn't go there hungry is all. Check it out if you're in the area!”

“Place is so damn good. Ask for 5 star spicy, it’s funny because they ask if you’re sure. I believe they make their spicy sauce by hand. The staff are realy nice and friendly. Customer service is great please thank place to eat or grab food to go”

“This new bakery/cafe is amazing! I’ve been here 4 times in the last month. The pricing is affordable (~$11 for a toast or sandwich) and they always seem to have new savory, sweet and gluten free baked goods to try. There’s easy street parking available out front and it’s walking distance to other bars and restaurants in Uptown.”

“Really adorable place. We stopped by for dessert and found these adorable bull dog chocolate & cheesecake mousse. They are delicious and a little hard to eat the face since it's so cute! The staff were nice and polite. I thought the peanut butter blended drink I got was ok - I was not very impressed with it as I was hoping for something that tastes similar to a peanut milkshake. But then again it is listed in the "health and beauty" category, so maybe I did it to myself 😅 Would definitely be open to trying other things on their menu.”

“Very good tapioca! Flavors are creative. Egg tarts is so soft and flavorful. Their classic milk tea has a stronger tea flavor compared to other boba places which is very nice.”

“Tasty and comforting Korean food. My favorites are the rose katsu bowl and spicy pork bowl. They are filling and very delicious. One time I got the rose tteobokki which was good but the portion was rather small, so I don't think that was worth. Overall would recommend!”

“Nice, quick service. Cute place. Easily was one of the best coffees I've ever had. I ordered an iced lavender oat milk latte which is my regular order at most places, but this one tasted much better than all the others I've had. My friend that accompanied me, that had a different coffee drink, also agreed one of the best coffees he's had in Seattle. I'd definitely go back! Also one of the few places open early on a Sunday morning in that part of U District/ the "Ave".”

“I love the Kitanda bread and always stop in when I’m visiting Seattle. And now it’s even easier with the new Link stations. I’m not gluten free, but when I go with friends that are I always suggest here! Sit in the window and people watch.”

“Went to Portage Bay Cafe for the first time for breakfast. We got there around 8:45 am and it got busy immediately after. I would recommend that you make a reservation ahead of time as this place seems to be popular on weekends. The food was good and the portions were plenty. They have heating and blankets for outdoor seating. Service was great and the place was clean. Overall a pleasant experience!”

“Despite being named the Pineapple Cafe I was disappointed to find a lack of pineapple options. Although names aren't always indicative of what's the the restaurant, this one was especially heart breaking for someone who is a fan of pineapple. Otherwise a nice, cozy cafe to compliment a hotel. Maybe a good place go grab a quick breakfast of lunch but a bad place to find pineapple.”

“Enjoyed a soy latte here today. It was scalding hot but average in taste. Super friendly barista. Lots of space inside to sit. All the desserts looked delicious so I may return to try one!”

“Best cup of drip I’ve had in the city. Really reasonably priced burritos given they’re heaping with meat. Get the sausage one. Staff is super conversational and friendly. Killer spot.”

“Went here for brunch and loved the options available for vegetarians. The food was good but we had difficult time with the toast (it was too hard). Other than that we loved the place. They have nice outdoor area with heaters. The coffee was good and the service was quick. Definitely recommend the place. Cheers!”

“This Starbucks location is by far the best one! Everyone here is so nice, kind and thoughtful. They always treat us with respect and thoughtfulness. They even gave my dog a pupupccino, something that I never knew about before. We love coming here for our favorite drinks because we know the staff will make the best drinks and treat us great!”

“Friendly staff, especially Crystal. She asked me my name once and has remembered it ever since, even though I’m wearing a COVID mask (probably harder to recognize people!). The only drawback is it’s in a pretty poor location (very hard to turn left off of Aurora as you are heading North) and there are not a lot of parking spots. You could park and easily get blocked in by the drive through line if it was long enough. Drive through service is generally quick.”

“These wonderful people always do a great job. Very polite and even funny as they usually put the most colorful personality at the window. We appreciate that. The lady at the window this morning is one of the best for sure. I wish I had her name. Thank you guys for saving my life every time I visit. I would die without coffee :) Keep up the good work.”

“I hope Wayward is doing well during the pandemic. I used Caviar to have this delivered. 100% satisfaction! Don’t be afraid to get delivery or pick up. It travels well and arrived tasting fresh off the griddle. The Garden Benedict was so flavorful and the flowering kale, I could eat everyday! I couldn’t resist adding a biscuit on the side. I was cold and wanted comfort food today and Wayward came through beautifully. Wayward is proof that being vegan doesn’t mean one is deprived of comforting, home-style, breakfast delights!”

“Breakfast was great, locally sourced ingredients. Love the vegetarian options. Unfortunately we were served old creamer and coffee. Then we waited for about five minutes, waitress was no where to be seen... we asked another waiter for fresh cups of coffee and creamer, which he kindly brought it out. Finding parking at this location is easy and they have outdoor seating.”
