“Such a cute little restaurant on a peaceful neighborhood street in Ballard. I've only tried their breakfast items and every single one is exceptionally tasty! They happily make dietary adjustments without throwing a fuss. They have indoor and outdoor seating but very limited outdoor seating with I think just 2 tiny tables in the front for guests. This restaurant is literally inside a house and you would not know it without looking for it. My favorites are their South of the Border breakfast items. So fresh and yummy and you can tell that they use quality ingredients. I just wish they had an espresso machine to order London Fogs with my breakfast! Feels good to support a local restaurant that does a really good job in satisfying their customers!”

“Good breakfast, made fresh Drip coffee, espresso, and non coffee options available Alt. Milks available Drip coffee is done well, not bitter or left to perk too long Single person bathroom for customers. Lots of tables, along the wall there are power outlets WiFi for customers, fairly quick, password at the counter Music is loud compared to a chain coffee shop. Headphones recommend, as the music changes often, and you may or may not like it. Parking is on the street, or in paid lots.”

“I’m told to never visit Starbucks while in Seattle because other shops are better. But since the company literally started in this town, I see no better time to stop here. And given how busy this store can be with the throngs of students at all hours of the day, the people working here certainly deserve five stars. Good job!”

“Cafe Solstice is a Seattle institution of coffee. They have been around almost 30 years bringing unique, down to earth yet cool vibes in contrast to this city full of many uptight or lesser established cafes. The food and coffee/tea are delicious and well made. They bake their pastries and sweets fresh daily and prepare their own sandwiches and wraps with skill toasted to perfection. The staff is warm open and professional - always taking care to keep their guests smiling and the cafe spotless. The art and music rotation is on point. I feel like I am entering a secret hidden club of awesomeness whenever I come here. Thanks for existing Cafe Solstice- you make living in Seattle that much better!”

“I do not traditionally drink boba but I enjoy the smoothies. I brought my daughter here who thoroughly enjoys them and we both had fun with the experience of making them ourselves. Parking is not so bad when it's not busy it is all street pay to park. We had a good experience and enjoyed ourselves. They were quite busy so I'm sure lots of people enjoy it.”

“Really cute spot with great pastries, coffee and light breakfast fare. They have outdoor seating in front and back if you have your pup with you, as we often do on a neighborhood walk that leads us here. My only gripe is that due to their small kitchen, they serve only breakfast sandwiches and parfaits until 11am and then switch over to only their toasts, soup and salads after that (11-3pm), so your options for food are a bit limited depending on what time you get there. That said, everything is quite tasty!”

“What a throw back! For those of us that actually grew up with record stores, you will love it! As well as those that didn't! Amazing selection! Cool vibe! Tap beer upstairs and café downstairs! DJ playing music... just the best experience!”

“I’ve ordered a few custom cakes from Patrick’s and they are so delicious. Even folks who don’t like cake have enjoyed it because it’s not overly sweet. I love to pop in for Mac salad and spam musubi on the road. The soups from the fridge are a tasty option to take home. When I had cancer, I loved to get the kimchi fried rice with poached eggs - it’s one of the only things from that time that is still appealing. Patrick’s baked goods are yummy too. It’s a great part of our community.”

“This place is simple but scrumptious. Don’t be deterred by the exterior. This cafe is clean and bright inside. The tea is fresh, and the banh mi sandwiches are so delicious and well-priced! The owners are super kind, and service is fast. We will be back!”

“First time here and I was amazed how nice this spot is. The restaurant is beautiful and clean. Very easy to order with a big menu and an electronic form to order which made it very easy and convenient. The staff was super friendly and attentive. I learned they’re the same owners as sizzle and crunch! Anyways the food was amazing, great portion sizes and flavor. Loved the salad and the sauces that came with my meal. My only critique is I wish the meats were juicier as they were on the drier side of things but nevertheless it was an amazing meal!”

“I just moved to Seattle from Atlanta. The team at the 1st Ave. Starbucks has helped make my transition even better. They treat me like a friend, like a part of the family. I appreciate them greatly. They’re really great at what they do. Stop in and visit them. Tell them, Ashley says hello.”

“I love The Spot! It’s the cutest, coziest, friendliest little restaurant/bar. All of their food is great. They have espresso and make great lattes, their waffles are amazing, as is all of their dinner. The staff are warm and welcoming. They have seats by a fire both indoors and outdoors. They make great cocktails. Definitely give this place a try!!”

“Nice, clean diner. My daughter and I ate breakfast there, and it was quite good. The French toast was delicious, with cinnamon and vanilla. The hash browns were crisp, and the coffee was excellent. The service was leasurely -- not a place for a fast meal, but good for a relaxed one.”

“This is the best place for pancakes, egg dishes, salads, etc.; all in a charming neighborhood. Excellent food and the staff really care about keeping people safe. Staff were very polite and respectful about asking for and checking our vaccination proof. Thank you for helping to keep everyone safe.”

“Delicous! We've tried items off both their gluten-free and regular menus and have been pleased with everything. The gluten free popcorn chicken and gluten-free spicy chicken sandwich are my favorites (the sandwich is large so make sure you're hungry). My daughters loved the scallion sesame noodles. It's one of the few things on their regular menu that isn't also on there gluten-free menu. I'm hoping they make a gluten-free version in the future because it smells amazing. We love that we can get fries with our meal too. Hangry Panda is one of our comfort restaurants when we've had a rough day. Editing to add that Hangry Panda is still a top favorite of ours a year later. They're so good and quick!”

“Cute little drive through that has more to offer than you think. Not just a drive through and not just smoothies, they have a full bar, a fire pit, free parking, a food menu, and they serve alcohol. Drinks are great and the service is super friendly. Definitely worth a drop in”

“One of my favorite coffee places in Seattle. My only wish is that they would have more comfortable chairs but then again people would not leave. Came in today and there were maybe 12 flies flying around so they should do something about that.”

“Wonderful bar. They have really unique cocktails and menu. You can tell that thought, care, and little bit of experimenting, is behind your every item. The staff were wonderful and friendly. The bartender we had was amazing even on a busy night like new years eve took the time to craft every drink with care and pride. 10/10 can't wait to bring people to this place next time we are in the Ballard area.”
